Galway Head of the River

Galway Head of the River takes place this Saturday, March 16, and the Bish will be entering crews in all categories during the day.

The first race will take place at 10.30am, which will include womens' eights and mens' fours, the scullers Head will be at 1.30pm and the eights will race in the third Head at 4pm.

Crews will pass under the Quincentennial Bridge about 15 minutes after they start.

St Joseph's Rowing Club is inviting the parents of their oarsmen to meet in the clubhouse in Woodquay for tea/coffee and homebaking from around 10.30-2pm. It will be an opportunity for parents of new oarsmen to meet each.
