BB: Bish win Western Regional Minor 'A' Title

The Bish First Year team won the Minor 'A' Basketball Title in NUIG on 21st March with a score line of 43 to 27. The Bish played St. Mary's College, Galway in the final and both teams now progess to the All Ireland playoffs in Limerick on the weekend of 28/29th April when the best 16 boys and 16 girls teams in the Country meet in the University of Limerick Sports Arena to compete for the National Title. 

In the Junior competition which is made up of seond years and Year 11's from Northern Ireland, Calasanctius Oranmore defeated the Bish with a score line of 61 to 39. The Bish and Oranmore now head into playoffs. The Bish got off to a slow start and Calasanctius were clinical in their finishing. The Bish who recently lost out to the same opposition in the All Ireland U15 Cup final in the NBA had to settle for second place once again. Both teams head to playoffs with the Bish hoping to meet them again at a later stage of the competition again.
