BISH GOLF AM-AM on September 10, 2010

This year the Bish Am-Am is being held in Galway Golf Club, Salthill, on Friday Sept. 10th. The Am-Am is a significant fundraiser for the school and all the support we get is greatly appreciated. The format is teams of four, stableford points, with the two best scores to count at each hole.  G.U.I handicaps will apply. The tee is reserved from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 4pm and the fee is 250 euro per team. This is in line with last year, a reduction of 50 euro from 2008 and reflects the difficult economic climate for both families and businesses. Cheques should be made payable to the school and sent directly to the school office.

Tee times may be booked by contacting Joe Gaffney at 087-2381649 or 091-531500. Early booking is advisable.

Prize giving will take place in the clubhouse at 9.30pm on the night.

If you are unable to play, but would like to support us, you are invited to become a sponsor by sending 100 euro to Ms. Anne Kitt c/o the school office.

Ms. Kitt has kindly agreed to head the sub-committee of the Parents’ Council, in charge of sponsorship. All sponsors will be acknowledged on the day and are invited to join us for the prize giving. 

Past pupils are particularly welcome either as players or sponsors.

If you are no longer living in Galway, this gives you a chance to make a useful contribution to the school. We are very grateful for your support in the past and look forward to seeing you once again on Sept. 10th.
